Sue is a Graduate of the University of Tasmania, School of Medicine. Her background is in general practice. In 1995 she co-founded Laserway, a practice specialising in sclerotherapy (treatment of leg veins) and laser treatments.
Sue has completed training within Australia and overseas, including a course in Laser Biophysics run by the Harvard Medical School post graduate foundation.
Sue is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology (veins) and an Associate Member of ASLMS (American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery).
In 2012, Laserway divided and Sue stayed on in the same site creating a new entity called Laserway on Davey.
Sue and her highly trained team of experienced professional practitioners are committed to delivering International best practice treatments through state of the art technologies and products. They are committed to ongoing education and training to ensure that they remain at the forefront of this progressive area of medicine.
Dr Sophie Otlowski grew up in Hobart and obtained her medical degree in 2015 from the University of Tasmania. Sophie is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Sophie has worked at Laserway on Davey since 2020 and performs a range of procedures including aesthetic treatments and treatments for venous disease. Sophie completed her Certificate of Basic Training in Phlebology in 2022 with the Australasian College of Phlebology.
Dr Columbine (Collie) Mullins is Medical Director and practising GP at Healthology Medical
Centres. Locally owned and operated, the three practices are Rosny Park Family Practice,
Risdon Vale Family Practice, and Rokeby Medical Centre.
Collie graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2004 with a Bachelor of
Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc). She is a
Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) (2012).
Collie is passionate about preventative medicine, chronic disease management and advocates
for equitable access to healthcare. She builds positive relationships with her patients and
community to guide them to make small everyday changes that can impact their overall health.
In more recent years, Collie has been delving into the depths of cosmetic medicine and is
thrilled to be part of the Laserway on Davey team. Collie is committed to treating her
patients individually and with the highest quality of clinical care to achieve best possible
outcomes.
Dr Fran Ramsay graduated from the University of Queensland and subspecialised in Bariatric Medicine (weight management). She was the Medical Coordinator of a multi-disciplinary, non-surgical weight loss clinic in Brisbane for 12 years. Since 2008 Dr Ramsay has worked with Bariatric Surgeons in Brisbane and Hobart.
In 2015 Dr Fran commenced work and training in Aesthetic Medicine and holds a Professional Diploma of Aesthetic Medicine. She believes in a holistic approach to enhance natural beauty and is proficient in many different modalities of aesthetics. Patient safety is paramount in her day-to-day work and her friendly, approachable manner helps patients feel confident and comfortable during their aesthetic treatments.
Laura is a graduate of Elly Lukas College of Beauty Therapy in Melbourne who spent her early years in the industry working as a therapist and manager of beauty salons and cosmetic clinics across Victoria and Tasmania including destination day spas located in Daylesford and Australia’s Alpine Ski Resorts.
To advance her knowledge of skin health Laura began a post graduate Diploma of Dermal Science learning about the non-surgical and surgical procedures available within Australia, Laura is now studying a Bachelor of Nursing at UTAS and due to graduate as a Registered Nurse in 2022.
While Laura completes her nursing degree, she will be working at Laserway on Davey.
Graduating as Dux of Papillon Beauty Academy in 2015 with a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Mahalia has since honed her skills as a therapist working at various day spa’s, boutique’s and salons, most recently managing a laser clinic in Hobart.
Mahalia has a keen interest in Aesthetic Medicine and is skilled in using various devices and performing a diverse range of treatments. She has completed consistent training throughout her career and enjoys discovering and researching new treatments, methods and devices as they become available.
Mahalia is passionate about skin health and believes that through a holistic approach, a healthy, radiant complexion can be achieved.
Jenny has been involved in this area of Medicine with Dr Sue Galligan since 1999. During that time she has successfully overhauled office policies and procedures optimising internal efficiency. She has also been responsible for ensuring business and medical compliance obligations are met and maintained in addition to keeping abreast of legislative changes relevant to the practice. Jenny is committed to fostering excellent working relationships with all providers as well as being the liaison person for communication between staff, doctors and patients. This assists greatly in enabling the practice to consistently provide the highest standards of customer service to meet the needs and expectations of our patients.
Jenny holds a Diploma in Professional Practice Management and is a member of the Australian Association of Practice Managers.
